    Still alive....
Hey everyone... I realize it's been almost 4mos since I've posted and I apologize. A LOT has happened... Most of which has been awful...and I'm sure I would recieve some ridicule about my current situation...so if you want details I'll talk about it elsewhere to you... anyways, I moved out of Mike's in July and moved to Megan's...where I stayed til' August, then I moved to my friend Jennifer's...stayed there til' labor day...then came back to Mike's. It's been a long drama filled ordeal and quite frankly I'm TIRED of it! All I want is a place to call home and since I've been moving so damn much, I don't wanna get comfortable anywhere out of fear that as soon as I do, I'll just have to fucking move again!! Ughhhh... I put in an application for an apartment back in July... but they can't put me on the waiting list until after my background check comes back...and here it is 3 MONTHS later and it still hasn't come back...The lady there told me that they "switched to a new system" and that it's "taking a bit longer than usual"...well 3 months is a "bit longer" than freakin necessary!! Soo, all I can pretty much do is wait... I'm also in the process of trying to get a job... so far it's not going very well... but I'm gonna keep trying cause I desperately need more of an income than I'm currently getting. Sorry I'm complaining... but all that's been happening the past few months has been nothing but shitty...I'm praying things will get better soon....I'm gonna try my best to start posting more often. I hope everyone is doing well. Take care :-)

    stupid jokes make me chuckle....
    tee hee hee...

Playboy guru Hugh Hefner made headlines today by successfully stopping a trio of monks from operating a business in front of his property. The monks were arrested on the sidewalk in front of the Playboy Mansion, where they had been selling flowers. Said one of the monks, "If it were anyone else, we might have gotten away with it, but unfortunately, only Hugh can prevent florist friars."

    YAY!!!!!! BABIES!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm gonna be a Grandmother!!!! My baby is having babies!!! Shinta, my 2yr old Alaskan Husky is having puppies ANY day now... I'm oh so very excited about it!!! I've never been around a pregnant dog before...so it's been rather entertaining watching her get GYNORMOUS in such a short period of time... and now you can feel the pups kicking and flipping around and whatnot. I have absolutely NO clue as to who she bred with... most likely several different dogs...so there's no telling what the pups will look like...but I'm sure they will be precious!!! Most of my friends are already well aware of all of this...but I just realized I hadn't posted anything in livejournal about it...hence my post. heh. Soo anyways, I'll post pics when the babies arrive, which like I said will be any day... Ohhh I'm excited!!!!!!! :-)

It's nice to have at least ONE good and exciting thing going on in the midst of my horrid life......

The antics of my precious pooch, T-Bone!!!
As most of you know, I have a Great Dane named T who is 6yrs old and by far the BEST dog I have ever had!! He is HUGE and most people are terrified of him just because of his size, but he is the biggest baby and is so spoiled it's disgusting..haha. Anyways, He lives with my parents so I don't get to see him very often and I miss him terribly... Every time I talk to my Dad I always ask how T is doing and everything...and today he told me a story I found highly amusing, so I thought i'd share it with you..........

On sunday when my younger brother Curtis left the house he latched the gate to the yard (we have a fenced in yard with a gate that my dad keeps a pad lock on so no one will try and steal the dog since he's a pure breed and worth a lot of money) but he forgot to put the padlock on.. well, a little while later there was a knock at the door..so my stepmom, Donna, went down to see who it was...she opened the door to see a man from Cook's pest control... of course T went right out on the porch to see who it was...well, the man proceeded to pet T for a moment and then began talking to my stepmom.... Soo, T did what he usually does around strange and/or new people that come to the house... he started sniffing the guy to check him out and whatnot... however, he didn't stop... he continued to sniff down the guy..and then went behind the guy...sniffed him some more, and THEN proceeded to hike his leg up and piss alllllllll over this man. T has NEVER done that before....My stepmom was doing everything in her power not to bust out laughing.... so this poor man from Cook's pest control left our front porch with dog piss from his ass, all the way down to his ankles. That makes me chuckle...quite hysterically...

    Ohhh, I love my dog!!!

    NOO!!!
Ohhh, we're under a damn tornado watch for the next 3 hours!! I don't mind storms...but the mere thought of a tornado scares the SHIT outta me!!! Soo, I'm a tad on edge at the moment..

In other news... I went to a tanning bed today for the first time. It was actually really fun! My friend had 3 coupons for a free week of tanning. So me, her, and my friend Amanda all went today. I feel I may be a tad bit burned...but thats to be expected since my skin rarely ever sees sunlight. heh... but anyways, so yeah it was fun times.

Ok.. Im gonna go watch the weather...and hope a tornado doesn't come and carry us all away to the land of OZ.

    Warning: HUGE Rant!!!
Ok... I am extremely pissed off! Allow me to elaborate...........

On Monday I lost my job at Westgate Resorts because I was terrible at doing sales, which honestly didn't upset me too much because I hated the job anyways. On Tuesday my friend Amanda came over and told me about a job orientation she was going to that day and that me and Mike should come with her and apply because it seemed like a good job and it paid $12/hr.

Ok, so here is EXACTLY what their ad in the newspaper says regarding the job............

"NOTICE TO JOB SEEKERS: IF YOU ARE NOT MAKING $12/HOUR Then You Are Underpaid!! Due to our new store opening, we need to fill several positions in: * Customer Service, * Marketing * Management * Set up & display * Appointment setting * as well as Several other positions. WE OFFER: * Great pay * Vacations * Incentives * Fun atmosphere YOU NEED: * Dedication * Work Ethic * Positive Attitude Call Monday 865-686-4751 Only 1st 100 callers guaranteed interviews"

So, since call center type work is what I enjoy doing and have experience in... I thought it would be well worth my time to go and check it out... Sooo, we get there and I'm filling out my application and then a man takes Mike and myself in to his office for our interview......
He then explains to me that I wouldn't be "physically capable" of doing the job, since the job is SELLING KIRBY VACCUM CLEANERS DOOR-TO-DOOR and giving demonstrations at people's homes by shampooing the carpet of a room in their house. I told him I came in for the interview because I was informed there were positions available in customer service and appointment setting (aka- CALL CENTER WORK).....and he says "Ohhh, well we don't actually do anything like that"...so here I am looking like a fucking dumbass...girl in wheelchair goes to apply for a door-to-door job, selling vaccum cleaners!!!! OHHHHHHHH I was so mad!
Sooo, I fully intend on calling them tomorrow and reading to them THEIR ad that THEY posted in the fucking newspaper...and then explain to them what I was told at the interview...and that I wasted my valuable time to go up there and fill out an application and listen to this smarmy little interviewer man spouting out bullshit about what a "great job it would be" to Mike...after he took one look at me and said "Umm...you wont be able to do this"..more specifically, I am going to explain to them that they need to either change their ad to at least make it SOMEWHAT truthful...OR I'll call the appropriate people and have the ad removed for false advertising....those fucking bastards!!!! Ughhhh

Ok... I do believe I am done venting now...

Have a pleasant evening everyone...and thanks for listening to me rant and rave!

Domestic animals stolen from their families and homes and tortured and killed for their fur...animals wearing collars for FUCK'S SAKE!! I was crying my eyes out watching those videos of those poor animals...I have never been so disgusted in my life! Please look at this website (it is a bit graphic) and sign the petition to NOT EVER step inside a JCrew store until things like this STOP! Put their sorry asses out of business!

    How....sad
An article from Brockpress.com about the strange and downright bizarre shit you can find on ebay...I was amused....enjoy!

When it comes to finding cheap prices on the Internet, eBay is a prime destination. However, eBay is also a global marketplace for hilarity where many obscure and ridiculous items exist and are sold on a daily or even hourly basis. For this article, I went on a quest to find some of the stranger eBay auctions to see what I could dig up.

A used pair of porn star Joe Cartwright's underwear
For approximately one British pound, you can acquire a pair of underwear worn by the star of such feature films as Rear Entry VII. This pair was worn for the movies 10 Things I Love About Dick and Dude, Where's my Bistro and Cigar Lounge? Yes, that is an actual movie title. Both of these movies were filmed in Romania and the underwear brand is Dolce and Gabbana, so even if you don't care about Cartwright, you can still wash them and have a nice pair of designer underwear for less than a British pound. At this point in the auction, shipping costs more than the item itself.

The Family Matters: Do the Urkel board game
No description that I write can equate to the amazingness of the actual item description:

"For years, mothers and fathers everywhere have asked themselves the question 'How do I get my children to view me as something more than a cyborg parental unit?' At last we have an answer: Do The Urkel with them! Do The Urkel is basically a collecting game. Collect eight bow ties to win the game. Challenges and pitfalls abound however, and you may find yourself having to imitate Urkel, hike up your pants, laugh and snort, or even sing the Urkel song - complete with finger puppet and cardboard eyeglasses. An ideal holiday gift for every Family Matters fan. C'mon, you're not afraid to get a little silly once in a while are you?"

The item is currently at 99 cents and gtowndogg is the high bidder. Once again, shipping is more than the actual item, in fact more than six times the cost.

    A cautionary decal
This is no ordinary cautionary decal, but one that reads "Caution: My farts have been known to kill barnyard animals." This is a vinyl decal that sticks to most surfaces and won't leave any adhesive sticky stains. It only costs a dollar and shipping is $1.25, so this is definitely a worthwhile purchase for those with smelly farts.

    Little Sprout talking alarm clock
For those of you who don't remember, the Jolly Green Giant had a son named Little Sprout. In 1985, a talking alarm clock was made in his honour and is currently for sale on eBay. In the morning, the alarm will beep and Little Sprout will say "It's time to get up, or as we say in the valley, have a ho-whole lot of fun today!" I'm not quite sure how such a product was ever marketed.

    John Wayne Toilet Paper
The auction declares this item a great conversation piece which is true, and something every John Wayne fan ought to have which is untrue. The item itself doesn't have any pictures of Wayne himself on it and simply reads "John Wayne Toilet Paper. It's rough. It's tough & it don't take no crap from nobody!" An item that I'm sure this western movie icon appreciates from beyond the grave.

A 1963 Jetsons Lunch Box and Thermos
Not that funny, right? Not until you find out that the current bid is $1,025 and that it has 15 bids. The bidding started at $9.99 but this is obviously a high ticket item. It will be interesting to see how much it sells for when the auction is completed this coming Friday.

    Lucky Charms cereal Pog set
Remember pogs? Well, they're back! In Lucky Charms form. This is the complete set of 12 Lucky Charms pogs from 1995 that are for sale. The Buy it Now price on this item is four dollars, so act quickly and you could have luck to follow you around.

Virgin Mary in grilled cheese form
This story made national news this past week and is a grilled cheese sandwich from ten years ago that contains the image of the Virgin Mary. There is a whole story behind it and the seller claims that they took a bite out of it and saw the face of the Virgin Mary looking up at them. The seller also claims that the sandwich has brought her good luck and blessings as they won over $70,000 from a local casino. The item is currently at $7,600 and the seller claims that the item for sale is not a hoax or joke.

As a result of the news generated from this item, people have been making their own replicas of the sandwich for sale and a shirt that says "I ate the Virgin Mary grilled cheese" on the front and "It was sacrilicious" on the back.

    In conclusion, eBay rocks.

Ok now I'm scared... I've been doing some research...reading about how cellulitis can spread to your bloodstream (which it already has) and kill you. Granted I'm a bit of a hypochondriac anyways and I worry a lot...but this is really scary stuff. I hope to GOD these antibiotics start working and tomorrow when I have to go back to the hospital they will tell me the bacteria in my blood is going away. I need to try and lay down and get some rest...but i'm hurting so bad and I'm terrified!!! I think i'm gonna cry
    2:45 am
    Ohh this is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    I am sick...extremely sick. Here's the story...

About 5 days ago or so I had a HUGE boil (big zit) on my knee...it popped when I was in the bathtub leaving a little hole in my knee. Well, as most of you know I'm in a wheelchair, so sometimes to get around I have to get out of my chair and crawl around. Well about a day or so later, I noticed my knee started hurting really bad...then it got worse and worse and worse...til my ENTIRE upper part of my leg was bright red, burning hot, swollen, and so painful I couldn't even get around. So today I finally couldn't take it anymore so I went to the hospital...they deemed it to be pretty serious so they took me in right away...

By this point...my entire knee was reallyyyy red and excrutiatingly painful and I was shaking and freezing cold..and I had a fever of 101.9. The nurse came in and attempted to draw blood and start an IV. After she blew out veins in BOTH arms and stuck me about 5 times, another nurse had to come in and do it...they drew blood, did an IV push of a high potent antibiotic, and gave me pain meds for my knee as well as motrin to try and bring my fever down...after a while the doctor came in and said my bloodwork indicated a very serious infection because my white blood cell count was really high and that they needed more blood to do cultures to see what kind of bacteria it was so they could give me the right kind of antibiotics... The nurse didn't want to stick me again since the first time around it was awful, so instead she took syringes and pulled the blood from my IV. While she was doing this (I wasn't watching) all of a sudden I felt this warm gooey stuff spray ALL over my face...once again she had fucked up and didn't close the IV in time and my own blood spurted all over my face...the floor...my arm...yeah, it was bad. They also did xrays of my knee to see how deep the infection was...

After awhile, the doctor came back in...with 2 other doctors to look at my knee...they said I had severe cellulitis (a very serious and potentially life threating bacterial infection) and that they wanted to admit me in to the hospital. At this point I was really scared...so they went and talked amongst themselves and decided to send me home...they put me on complete bed rest, lots of fluids, an antibiotic called dicloxicillin, percocet, and motrin to keep my fever down...and told me I have to go back to the hospital tomorrow to have my white cell count checked again to see if they need to keep me in the hospital or not....so yeah, this is really bad...all because of a PIMPLE!!! Why does shit like this happen to me?!

So after I came home....Jennifer and Tyler came over to visit me which was really nice. Mike is just making things worse...he seems to think this is "no big deal" and if Jennifer hadn't hounded him about the seriousness of this he probably wouldn't have taken me to the hospital and God only knows what would've happened...He just went to bed and I told him I couldn't sleep right now cause i'm hurting really bad...told him I just took some more pain meds so hopefully I'll be able to rest soon...and what does he do???????? He starts bitching about me "wasting" electricity cause I'm using the computer and I'm going to watch some tv til I can fall asleep. Not "i'm so sorry you're sick, I hope you feel better" or "Is there anything I can do for you?"...He has to pitch a fit...I calmly asked him to try and be a little sympathetic given the situation...he says he can't be sympathetic because we have no money and i'm wasting electricity......

I wish someone would come over and take care of me...this is awful :*-(

Fuck GC Services!!! Those bastards fired me! They fired me for my login time...yet it's kinda hard to hold someone accountable for the time that they are logged in to the computer system when there's about 250 working at any given time, and only 150 desks! AND the very day that they fired me, I came in from lunch with NO WHERE to sit in the whole building, and when I asked Charles (who is the head manager of the ENTIRE call center) to please help me find a desk, he flat out told me no! Then, not even an hour later..they fire me for my login time. FUCK THEM!! So...today I had a little chat with the corporate headquarters down in Houston, TX. and let them know how shitty that place is run and that they fired me for something that's their own damn fault!

Anyways...on a happier note... I got a Punkin' to carve!!! I'm very excited about it! Even though Mike has no interest in it, and Jennifer doesn't wanna come over and help either...I'm still excited about it and I'll carve the damn thing by myself if I have to! heh

    Well that's all for now..

    Cheerio :)
